    Mr. President,

I just read on the BBC web site about your creation of a shark sanctuary. May I be among the first to applaud your initiative on such an important environmental issue. On behalf of future generations, thank you.

    Respectfully,

Palau is our mother land. And with our great support for our chosen leaders, WE COULD THIS!
I am totally behind the decision made by President Toribiong and all the great leaders leading our small island nation.
Look on the bright side. The decision made to accept the Uighers will also have great benefits to ROP and the people. It will help generate the economy with employment and provide to the citizens and the immigrants in Palau.
With our small island nation, I am not surprise with this decision regarding the Uighers. It is for the best, but i am afraid and nervous that there will be more decisions like this to come in the future, just to keep the Island afloat.

      Dear idunno,

Referring to your comment dated November 4, 2009 at 4:12 am, I wonder if you will have the same attitude towards former President Remengesau now that he is a convicted criminal?

I submitted this same inquiry on Alekokau but it was erased by Kambes. I will ask again. Casmir Remengesau just testified on behalf of his brother former President TR jr in front of Associate Justice Kathleen Salii. It is a known fact in the palauan community that Justice Salii and the president’s younger brother Casmir were in a romantic relationship for a number of years. Why was this issue not raised because this potentiality for conflict of interest? From the get go, the trial should have been presided over by a non-palauan because of its high nature and the cultural/familial ties that bind all of us as palauans.

    Dear Mr. President,

I got an excellent and practical idea which could provide huge income for the government of Palau and those money could be used for helping Palau people .

In Hong Kong, there has been a hot topic in these several years: investment immigration. A lot of people from mainland China are desperate to get Hong Kong Citizenship and therefore invest 6.5 millions HK dollars in Hong Kong to get one. However, the mainpoint is that before people from mainland can make such immigration application, he and his family MUST GET A THIRD COUNTRY’S CITIZENSHIP. Actually now some african countries provide the third country’s citizenship to those applicants and those countries get huge income from it. AS A MATTER OF FACT, NO CHINESE PEOPLE would ever go to those countries and all they want is to satisfy the immigration policy in Hong Kong. I am from Hong Kong and actually I am from immigration consultancy firm here, if your country would consider this option, and I would more than happy to promote Palau. Should you have any questions, please feel free to email me. Thank you very much

Wait wait!! First of all! lets not point fingers here!! Its not that I have never pointed fingers before but, all I’m saying is since we’re in President Toribiongs administration lets not talk about Senator TR jr.
Secondly… lets not discriminate the Uighers now that they have a place to call home. I am not saying that I dont like the fact that they are already living in Palau and Its not that I didn’t want them here! And to “idunno” for your information they are not CRIMINALS!! We and I mean every body, and nobody knows for sure if they really are criminals or not… only they know!! you dont even know the story behind the UIGHERS case!!
MY POINT IS LETS STOP POINTING FINGERS TO WHAT HAS BEEN DONE AND LETS TRY AND FIND A BETTER WAY TO LOOK TOWARDS THE FUTURE!!!!
    WHAT DO YOU THINK?!?!?!?
    RESPECTFULLY,
    MORE CONCERNED
